Vivo - the stackable triangles

This was the designer’s idea behind Vivo. A three-dimensional triangle with a flat base forming a V-shaped element with unusual and abstract play opportunities. By interlocking the elements, crosses between letters of the alphabet, towers, or objects similar to DNA structures can be produced.

Born in 1955 in the district of Shizuoka, Japan; 1973, Yasuo Aizawa studied drawing; first encounter with Ellipso from Naef (1980) and working as a salesman at a toy company prompted Aizawa to design toys himself; since 1989 draws cartoons (mangas) related to toys; gives lectures at art colleges which deal with the topic "play and childhood education".
